Speech and Myofunctional Therapy
Jessica Johstoneaux is a certified speech-language pathologist with over 20 years of experience providing therapy to both children and adults. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences from the University of Oregon and her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Brigham Young University.
Jessica has worked with clients across a wide range of ages and settings, including elementary, middle, and high school both in person and online. With six years of experience delivering virtual therapy, she understands how effective and convenient online sessions can be for individuals with busy schedules or limited access to in-person services.
A lifelong learner, Jessica is passionate about staying current in her field and regularly participates in continuing education courses and professional workshops to expand her expertise.
In addition to her broad clinical experience, Jessica has pursued specialized training in orofacial myology, focusing on resolving tongue thrust, swallowing patterns, and oral resting posture. Addressing these foundational issues can have a positive impact on speech clarity, breathing, dental health, and orthodontic outcomes.
